The 2007-2008 faculty of CMS boasts over 250 years of combined teaching experience. Most of our teachers hold bachelors degrees in their instruments or teaching, with four also holding masters degrees. Some CMS faculty are members of the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, the NC Symphony, the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra, and other area ensembles and organizations. CMS faculty also consist of a former band director, the current director of the ensemble Durham Jazz, a former Broadway singer, a recipient of a Music Teachers National Association teacher grant, and a recipient of the Raleigh Medal of Arts. | |
